Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, information created when you use our services, and limited technical information from your browser or device.
- Account information: full name, email address, phone number, and password (stored as a secure hash, never in plain text).
- Profile information: organisation/employer, role, and any details you choose to add to your profile.
- Purchase & enrolment data: which plans/courses you buy, enrolment dates, and communication related to your enrolment.
- Payment metadata: transaction ID, amount, date and payment status — provided to us by our payment gateway partner. We do not receive or store your full card, UPI PIN, or net-banking credentials.
- Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and approximate location (city-level), collected automatically for security and analytics.
How we use your information
- To create and secure your account, and to authenticate you when you sign in.
- To deliver the training, audit, business-planning or matriculation services you purchase.
- To process payments and send receipts/invoices.
- To send service-related communication (enrolment confirmations, class/audit schedules, policy updates).
- With your consent, to send updates about new courses, resources or offers — you can opt out at any time.
- To monitor site usage, detect fraud/abuse, and improve our services (aggregated, wherever possible, in the admin analytics dashboard).
Authentication data
Sign-up is available using your email address (with a one-time code or secure link) or a password. A phone number may be added to your profile for contact purposes. Verifying your phone number, where offered, uses free channels (such as WhatsApp Business messaging) rather than paid SMS — no charge is ever passed to you for account verification. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms (bcrypt/argon2) and are never visible to MLPCPL staff.
Payment information
All payments for plans and courses are processed by our payment gateway partner (Razorpay). Card numbers, UPI credentials and net-banking logins are entered directly on the gateway's secure, PCI-DSS-compliant checkout — MLPCPL's servers never receive or store them. We retain only the transaction reference, amount and status needed for your receipt, our accounting, and dispute resolution.
Data retention
We retain account and transaction data for as long as your account is active, and for a further period afterward as required for accounting, tax and legal purposes (typically up to 7 years for financial records, consistent with Indian statutory requirements). You may request earlier deletion of non-statutory data at any time — see "Your rights" below.
Security
We use encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, access controls limiting who at MLPCPL can view customer data, and rate-limiting on login and verification attempts. No system is 100% immune to risk, and we will notify affected users and relevant authorities promptly in the event of a data breach, as required by law.
Your rights
You may, at any time, request to:
- Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate profile information.
- Delete your account and associated personal data, subject to records we must legally retain.
- Withdraw consent for marketing communications.

Children's privacy
Our services are intended for pharmacy professionals, students and business users aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our services evolve. Material changes will be notified by email or an on-site notice, and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the latest revision.
